Collections of the Hermitage

This superb program is specifically designed for travelers interested in artistic, historical, and cultural treasures of the State Hermitage Museum (Winter Palace), one of the most spectacular museums in the world.

Day 1
Arrival in St. Petersburg. Walking tour around the Hermitage buildings: architecture and surrounding ensembles; Introduction to Winter Palace.

Day 2
Winter Palace, Impressionist Collection.

Day 3
Small Hermitage, West European Applied Art. Tour of the administrative center of Imperial Russia.

Day 4
Old Hermitage, Italian Masters, Spanish Collection. Prince Menshikov Palace: branch of the Hermitage Museum with Russian Palace interior collections of the early 18C.

Day 5
New Hermitage, Dutch School, Flemish School.

Day 6
Meeting with the Senior Curator of the Hermitage. General Staff Headquarters: 19C furniture collections and temporary Art exhibitions from Hermitage collections.

Day 7
Departure from St. Petersburg.
