General Terms And Conditions

Please read carefully the following General Terms and Conditions outlining the limitations of our liability. Your payment for a tour shall constitute your absolute consent to all the provisions herewith.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT - A deposit of $300 per person is required at the time of reservation. Written confirmation will be issued only after the deposit has been received. Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure. Make your reservations as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY - St. Petersburg Travel, Inc., 1201 N. 21st Street, Boise, ID 83702, Phone number (208)338-6526, Fax number (208)338-6856, is a Tour Operator. Please note that 'St. Petersburg Travel, Inc.' refers only to the Tour Operating company specified here, as does 'us', 'we' and 'ours.' The Tour Operator is responsible for making the arrangements for the tours offered on this web page. The companies providing transportation services, sightseeing arrangements, and hotel accommodations are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of St. Petersburg Travel, Inc.. All visas and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers. In utilizing the services of the suppliers, you agree that St. Petersburg Travel, Inc. will not be liable, unless caused by its own negligence, for any accident, loss, injury or damage to you or to those travelling with you; or any problems in accommodations, transportation or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or conditions beyond its control, including defects in vehicles, breakdown in equipment, strikes, theft, delay or cancellation of or changes in itinerary or schedules, fire, acts of government or authorities, weather, terrorism, Acts of God or any other causes. The terms under which you agree to take this tour cannot be changed or amended except in writing, signed by an authorized officer of St. Petersburg Travel, Inc.. The Tour Operator reserves the right to withdraw and/or cancel a tour or to make changes in the itinerary whenever, in its sole judgment, conditions warrant it. If the Tour Operator cancels the tour, it shall have no responsibility beyond the refund of all monies paid to the Tour Operator by tour participants. At any time the Tour Operator may decline, for any reason, any person as a member of a tour whereupon the Tour Operator's only responsibility shall be to refund to that person the portion of payment for the unused services.

TOUR DOCUMENTS – A valid passport is required. A visa is required for all tourists entering Russia. For a nominal fee (subject to change) St. Petersburg Travel, Inc. will handle your visa requirements for you. This non-refundable fee covers handling costs, postage, and consular fees provided that necessary documents are received from a traveler by the Tour Operator at least 45 days prior to departure. If visa applications are received less than 45 days before departure, additional charges will apply. Once you receive your visa, please carefully check it for errors. St. Petersburg Travel, Inc. will not bear any responsibility for visa errors which were not brought to our attention at least 10 days before your departure.

FLIGHTS WITHIN RUSSIA / HOTELS – Russian domestic flight luggage allowance is 20kg (44 lbs) per person: 1 check-in bag & 1 carry-on bag. Any luggage exceeding weight of 20kg (44 lbs) per person will be subject to extra fees. Please keep this in mind when packing for your upcoming trip. Accommodations will be provided at hotels listed, or at hotels of the same or similar quality. Per person cost is based on double occupancy. All rooms are equipped with private bath or shower.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS – All cancellations must be received in writing. Appropriate refunds (if applicable) will be provided via check or money order or bank wire transfer. All cancellations will be subject to a $50.00 processing fee per person charged to offset the costs of handling the reservation. In addition, the following cancellation charges will apply based on when the cancellation is received in regards to the date of departure. This is expressed as a percentage of the tour cost and is calculated as follows (charges per person):

• 25 - 11 days prior to departure, cancellation charge - 30% of tour cost
• 10 - 4 days prior to departure, cancellation charge - 50% of tour cost
• 3 days prior to departure or no show, cancellation charge - 100% of tour cost

NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR COST – Cost of passport and Russian visa, transportation to and/or from airport gateways, additional expenses arising from your travel package, items of personal nature such as laundry, telephone, room service, etc.. Travel Insurance is not included in your cost, however, it is strongly recommended.

INCLUDED IN YOUR COST – All services such as transfers within Russia, special interest programs, accommodations in hotels as listed, meals as indicated, sightseeing, entertainment and other services specified in each itinerary.
