Grand Hotel Europe ($370 and up, per room per night)
This five-star hotel (5 floors, 301 rooms) was built in 1824 and fully restored in 1991. It is the oldest and one of the best and most expensive in the city. Business as well as leisure travelers will find this property most comfortable and luxurious. It is located in the city center, about 20 minutes from the airport.

Hotel Astoria ($320 and up, per room per night)
This luxury, five-star hotel was built in 1912 and fully renovated in 1991. It consists of 2 buildings, and offers 436 rooms. This property is located in the heart of St. Petersburg, next to St. Isaac's Cathedral. It is ideal for business and leisure travelers alike. It is approximately 20 minutes from the airport by car.

Hotel Pribaltiiskaya ($99 and up, per room per night)
This 15-story hotel was built in 1978 and is located very close to the Gulf of Finland. Classified as a four-star hotel, it offers all the amenities to make you feel comfortable during your stay. However, it is located approximately 45 min. away from the center of the city, and some 1/2 hour from the airport.

This three-star property is centrally located on the bank of the Neva River and offers a splendid view of the city. It also has the largest Conference facility in St. Petersburg - the Congress Hall easily seats an audience of 800. We found this hotel to be the best value for our clients, both business and leisure, considering the rates and the amenities offered (all prices include buffet breakfast):

Metropol ($350 and up, per room per night)
This five-star luxury hotel is the only hotel in Moscow designed in art-noveau style. It was built in 1905 and renovated in 1990. This property is conveniently located in the center of the city - near the Kremlin and Red Square.

Novotel ($260 and up, per room per night)
This hotel is located at the International Sheremetyevo-2 Airport. Built in 1992, this four-star hotel is excellent for any overnight stay between flights, and for those passengers arriving very late in the evening.

Cosmos - OUR RECOMMENDATION - ($140 and up, per room per night)
This four-star hotel is located very close to the center of the city, yet away from all the traffic. It was built in 1979, and offers 1,770 rooms. We have received a number of positive responses regarding this property, and considering the value they offer, recommend it to any traveler, business or leisure, visiting the Capital of Russia.
